BRITNEY SPEARS has fuelled reports her teenage sister JAMIE LYNN is due to give birth after jetting home to Kentwood, Louisiana.
The pop star, who was last in Kentwood for her sister's baby shower last month, took an early morning flight with her brother Bryan and her father Jamie from Los Angeles to New Orleans on Wednesday.
Reports suggest 17-year-old Jamie Lynn will welcome her first child today.
Britney's little sister stunned the Spears family with her baby news last year, when she was just 16.
Meanwhile poor old Britney is facing yet more legal woes after her mother LYNNE pleaded with a top judge to drop driving charges against her troubled daughter.
Lynne is appealing to the judge to throw out a driving without a licence charge against Brit whch dates back to a hit-and-run incident last year in which the 26-year-old hit a car in a carpark, drove off and was later found to be without a driver's licence.
In a court declaration filed on Wednesday, Lynne maintains the Toxic hitmaker has temporary residences in Florida, New York and California - and was therefore unaware she was required to hold a California state licence.
The document, obtained by TMZ.com, also alleges Britney intends to return to Louisiana to live - despite recent reports the star is hunting for a new house in Los Angeles.
The case will resume in court on 11 August.
