We're not one for sweeping statements, but we challenge anyone to find a better steak in Dubai.
The menu at Hunter's Room and Grill is not for the faint hearted, and neither are the prices.
But, if you're looking for somewhere to splash out, there can't be a better option.
The meat-fest menu might look like it's just for blokes, but the delicate presentation and superior service is fit for a queen.
For starters don't miss the duck confit with goat cheese polenta, stewed cherry tomatoes, balsamic chocolate jus topped with a wafer of crispy skin. And for seafood lovers the clam chowder is a must.
Over to the main courses, we loved the Latin Black Angus fillet steak stuffed with jalapenos, queso manchego and sweet paprika, finished off with sides of cauliflower gratin, potato puree and vidalia onion tempura.
If you're feeling flush try the chef's special kobe beef.
You might think Dhs400 is a little excessive for one course, but the ancient Japanese method of preparation means this steak has more pampering than Paris Hilton - but with much better taste.
Finally, if your waistline permits, dive in to the sticky toffee sponge with popcorn ice cream.
You'll never want Haagen Dazs again.
