Mrs Beckham shows it pays to have posh pals
VICTORIA BECKHAM is reportedly set to make her big screen acting debut in new movie HARDY MEN - after she was personally hired by the film's star TOM CRUISE.
At her recent 34th birthday party last month, the singer was said to have been left speechless after Cruise surprised her with an invitation to design the costumes for the forthcoming picture.
And according to reports in British newspapers, the Top Gun star has also asked Mrs Beckham to make a cameo appearance in the film, which is a spoof of children's book series The Hardy Boys.
Beckham showed off her acting abilities last year when she appeared in hit TV series Ugly Betty as a bridesmaid to Vanessa Williams' catty fashion boss character, Wilhelmina Slater. Her first appearance on the big screen was in Spice World The Movie, where she played herself.
