Imagine it... you're working as a waitress in a cocktail bar and in walks one of Hollywood's most sought-after men, who then sweeps you off your feet and whisks you off to Venice.
Think we're dreaming? We're not, because that's exactly what happened to George Clooney's latest girlfriend, 28-year-old Sarah Larson.
After flying her to France and going public for the first time on September 1 at the Deauville Film Festival, where George was promoting his new movie Michael Clayton, the couple were then the talk of the town when they appeared together for the first time on the red carpet at the Venice Film Festival - "George couldn't keep his hands off Sarah," revealed an onlooker. "At one point he just leaned over and kissed her on the lips." George even arranged for his new love to wear Dhs11 million worth of Bulgari diamonds for their special night.
Inseparable ever since, it's definitely a far cry from where the former Las Vegan GoGo dancer had been a couple of months earlier. Ahlan! went to find out a little more about Georgie's Girl...
The small town girl
Although Sarah hasn't spoken publicly since she got together with George - either about her past or her new relationship - from what friends of hers have said, she seems like a nice and normal kinda girl.
A small town cheerleader type who grew up just outside Seattle, she's the oldest of three sisters and a brother.
The college student (with a bachelor degree) dated her high school sweetheart, Tommy, for six years before they split and she eventually moved to Las Vegas with another boyfriend, Dan Randolph.
The reality TV star
When they first appeared together, initial reports about the new girl were that George had gone for yet another "civilian" - however that isn't strictly true, as Sarah has already had a brush with fame.
Back in 2005, Sarah and her then-boyfriend Dan were winners of the NBC reality TV show Fear Factor, which makes its contestants go through incredible stunts in order to face their darkest fears. Calling herself a "GoGo dancer" on the show, she eventually took home Dhs90,000 after eating a live scorpion on air.
Life with George
Since winning the show, Sarah has stepped out of the limelight and been working as a cocktail waitress at a variety of different Las Vegas nightclubs, including Moon, where she met George, who was in town for the premiere of Ocean's Thirteen.
Now living the high life with the world's most eligible bachelor, she's already survived a motor bike crash and the glare of the red carpet (which she has to hobble down as she's still on crutches), so it looks like this one could be around for a while...
