Troubled thesp Owen Wilson is "doing really well" following his suicide attempt, according to his best mate, funnyman Ben Stiller.
Wilson was hospitalised in August after making an attempt on his life at his Santa Monica, California home.
He is now back at home and being looked after by a paid 'companion' - and Stiller reveals he is making a good recovery.
The actor told talk show host Ellen DeGeneres on Friday - "He's doing really well. I sort of like to protect his privacy, 'cause I feel like it's his own thing.
"But he's a really good friend of mine. He's an incredible guy and I wish him as everybody does, all the best."
