The big joke on the Ocean's Thirteen movie set involved dads Matt Damon and Brad Pitt trying to encourage their co-star George to settle down and start a family. And it seems Brad's determined to make a more responsible man of his pal, reportedly asking George to be godfather to his impending twins.

The actor missed out on the role for Nicole Kidman's baby, despite rumours he'd been asked, with his rep revealing, "They are friends, but George was not asked to be the godfather."

And with 46-year-old George replying "I am", when asked by reporters if he'd been asked to fulfill the role, it looks like the new Jolie-Pitt babies will have one hell of an A-list goddaddy.

Publicly vocal about his decision not to marry again, or have children, George is content to keep his life kid free. And the star's ex-girlfriend, Lisa Snowdon, recently revealed that this was what led to their break-up.

"I'm so selfish and I get nervous around kids," spilled George. "I know I'm not ready for that kind of life. I've settled into a very comfortable lifestyle and I really don't want to change things" - which extends to being guardian to other people's kids. And George has joked that children aren't welcome in his life.

"Some of the [Ocean's] cast will come and visit me at my villa again," he said. Adding, "Brad will, but I've told him he can't bring his 15 children."
