The trouble with fame
Exactly why do actors think their job is so hard? Ahlan! reveals the worst A-list moaners...
The Brit actor, who was recently arrested in London for allegedly assaulting a paparazzo, has made no secret of his distaste for fame, but saves most of his vitriol for raging against appreciation of his genetics.
"I always wanted to be an actor, not a beauty pageant winner," spat the 35-year-old, who has called acting a "treacherous path." And the actor also remains adamant that, despite the female adulation, he "didn't really get into [acting] to become famous." Course not.
They 'work' for about three months of the year, receive endless designer freebies, have all the money they could ever need and get to live lives of luxury. So why do actors spend most of their time bemoaning their fame and insisting that their job is such hard work?
Surely it's an affront to firemen, doctors or teachers, when some silly 25-year-old twitters, "The hardest thing about being [an] actor is that it's not just an eight-hour day."
