Could the months of speculation about a Brangelina breakup be true?
It looks like Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are ready to say goodbye to their almost five-year not-married-but-kind-of-married relationship. The couple met in 2004 on the set of their film Mr. and Mrs. Smith when Brad was still married to Jennifer Aniston, and following his divorce with the Friends actress, Brad began a tabloid frenzied relationship with Angelina.
But six children later (three of which are adopted), it seems the couple are ready to call it quits. Rumours of the separation emerged with news that the couple had met with a lawyer to discuss terms of the separation and custody.
According to reports, the couple have decided to share custody of their six children Maddox, eight, Pax, six, Zahara, five, Shiloh, three, and 17-month twins Knox and Vivienne. However, the children will reside with Angelina.
The settlement amount that has been set for the split is a reported £205 million (Dhs1.21 billion) which the couple have amassed since getting together in 2004 and includes mansions in California, France and New Orleans.
Brad and Angelina have been at the centre of separation rumours for some time now, and his solo appearance at last night’s (Jan 23) Hope for Haiti Now telethon helped confirm the breakup rumours (Jen was at the event too, but the exes weren’t spotted together during the show).
