Hilary’s boyfriend gifts her $100,000 car

Hilary Duff's generous new boyfriend, hockey star Mike Comrie, has handed the pop star the keys to a new Mercedes Benz - as an early birthday gift.

The So Yesterday singer was stunned when she realised the G-class SUV in her sister's garage was for her.

Comrie told Duff his early birthday gift for her was at her sibling's house, adding, "I hope you like them."

The singer/actress tells People magazine, "(I thought) it's shoes or something. I opened the garage, and I was just, like, shocked, just standing there.

"I was planning on getting a big car and I drive a big car anyway, and I was just like, ‘You know, maybe I like the G-Wagen.

"I've (already) driven it (new car) tons. When I called him (Comrie) I was like, ‘You're crazy! It's perfect!'"

Duff turns 20 on 28th September.
