Britney's troubles just keep on growing...

Poor Brit's in trouble again after paps caught a driving incident on camera back in August, when she accidentally collided with a woman's car as she tried to park her Mercedes Benz in a car park in California.

After checking out the damage, thoughtless Brit failed to contact the woman about the incident, which goes against Californian law. She's been faced with hit and run charges.

In another twist to the pop star's troubled life, the City Attorney dropped a further charge on her for driving without a current license. Both charges carry a maximum of six months in jail - yikes!

Britney's hearing is scheduled for October 10th.

Apparently, the latest saga has left poor Brit a wreck - she was seen sobbing whilst out shopping in LA as news of her crimes hit the headlines.

Could anything else go wrong for our Brit? Honestly, we reckon someone needs a hug, people.
