When it comes to Paris Hilton, you know her relationship must be real when the party girl hangs up her Chanel clutch bag in favour of staying in and rustling up home-cooked dinners.

Having only recently gone public with Good Charlotte rocker, friends of the heiress are already convinced he could be the one after she was spotted wearing a ring on that finger!

"It's pretty serious. They're really into each other. She's even staying at home and cooking for him", revealed a friend of the 27-year-old who has already met her potential mother-in-law, when the couple had dinner with Benji's mum in LA this week.

Considering that both of them are famous for their roller-coaster relationships - Paris has been engaged twice and Benji split up with his fiancée of two years, Sophie Monk, two weeks ago - we're not going to be searching for our wedding outfits just yet.

Although we like to think of ourselves as hopeless romantics, we can't help but question the depth of the serial dater's love for Benji, when it's just too convenient that he happens to be the brother-in-law of her best friend, Nicole Richie - who also happens to be appearing in Paris's upcoming MTV series about finding a new best friend. Good timing, wouldn't you say?
