How to get the best out of the 2008 Dubai World Cup Day

1) Broke after you've spent your last Dirham on that fabulous Dubai World Cup Outfit? Then have a crack at winning some cash prizes by entering the Pick-Seven competition. Forms available at all gates.

2) Have a glass of bubbly or simply experience the heady atmosphere at the Bubble Lounge.

3) The best place to watch the horses and study the form is from the Paddock Lawns. Get hold of a racecard and watch the thoroughbreds in the parade ring prior to the running of each race.

4) The stakes have never been higher in the fashion field, as the fashionistas line up for the BurJuman Style Stakes. Make sure you register before racing, at the Style Arena located in the International Village, close to the racetrack.

5) Fancy 25 round-trips from Europe to Dubai? Then you must enter the Skywards Thanks A Million Draw, which offers 1,000,000 Skywards Miles to one lucky winner. Look out for the Skywards raffle booths, or make your way to the outlet in the International Village. Racegoers will also have the opportunity to win a Bentley by entering the Dubai Duty Free Finest Surprise Draw, and a Land Rover in the Land Rover LR2 Draw. Dubai Duty Free tickets are on sale underneath the Millennium Grandstand, Level 4 Maktoum Grandstand, in the public area beside the Paddock and near the car display in the Paddock Lawns. Land Rover tickets will be available from the Land Rover car display in the International Village and from all Land Rover raffle booths.

6) If you want to take home a wonderful memory or souvenir of the day, then get your photo taken at the Ahlan! Studio, preceded of course by a visit to the Face Stockholm Lounge & Franck Provost Hair Salon for a quick touch up. All located in the Style Arena.

7) Global quality is not just reflected in the racing, but in the food too. Visit the International Village for cuisine from all over the world, including Mexican, Japanese, Indian and Italian.

8) If there's one thing you must do on Dubai World Cup day, it's taking your seat or making your way to the Paddock Lawns for the awe-inspiring Dubai World Cup Ceremony, staged after the running of the Dubai Golden Shaheen.

9) Get close and personal - watch the Dubai World Cup from the rails. The thundering hooves, cracking of whips and riders' yells of encouragement will live with you forever.

10) Party hard. The Partizone, in the International Village, is the place where only Dubai's liveliest and strongest revelers are welcome.
