American singer-actress Jessica Simpson is trying to understand Indian culture ever since she has arrived in the country.

She got her hands henna tattooed and wore a bindi on her forehead when she attended a party hosted for her by Gitanjali jewellers at Vie Lounge in Mumbai (pictured left).

Simpson is travelling around the world trying to understand what different cultures find beautiful and why. Currently she is in India to film her television show "The Price of Beauty".

She is a guest of Bollywood actress Neha Dhupia who has been chosen as the Indian Beauty ambassador for her show.
