Even more telly!
BBC Arabic news launches soon, in a living room near you...
Our telly signals break up faster in Dubai than Britney's relationships. Something to do with an ongoing sand-in-the-atmosphere issue. But still, when we can watch telly, it's always nice to come across a new channel, which is why we were interested to hear that BBC Arabic News is launching next week.
It'll run alongside the already massively popular radio and online stuff as of next Tuesday, March 11th at 10am.
BBC Arabic television will be freely available to everyone with a satellite or cable connection in the region, whether you're in North Africa, the Middle East or the Gulf.
The TV channel's schedule includes news headlines every 15 minutes and a full news summary every 30 minutes.
As well as harnessing the BBC's resources of over 250 correspondents reporting from 72 bureaux around the world - we're also promised features, news and current affairs programmes including a showcase of the best BBC documentaries, and specially produced in-depth reports from the Arab world.
Tune in, if you can.
