Why? Keep up celeb fans, because “exhaustion” is just soooo last week!

Formerly the excuse of choice for A-listers who’d overindulged on booze and under-indulged on food, but wanted us to believe they’d overdosed on work – “exhaustion” has been replaced, thanks to The Hoff, by the rather less snappy “Equilibrium problem”.

After a 911 call by David Hasselhoff’s daughter, Hayley saw the teen tell paramedics her dad was “extremely drunk” and had apparently fallen down the stairs, the Baywatch star was rushed to hospital with suspected alcohol poisoning.

But, hang on a sec, said The Hoff upon checkout, it’s all a misunderstanding, it was an “equilibrium imbalance” caused by medication he was taking
for an ear infection, which made him appear to look drunk.

Hmmm, do we prefer that one or Mischa’s “wisdom tooth surgery”? It’s a toughie!
