DANNII MINOGUE's X-Factor crew were stopped and held at Dubai Airport when they flew in to film for the hit TV show, according to reports.

The crew were flying in with contestants - who have made it to the final stages of the TV talent show - when were reportedly held and quizzed about their reasons for entering the country.

The Daily Mail reports the group of six female contestants arrived with the film crew who were then questioned and their equipment was ‘taken apart and examined' until guards were given documents proving they were a team from the TV show.

The crew was travelling with six female contestants - Lucie Jones, 18, Stacey Solomon, 19, Rachel Adedeji, 18, Nicole Jackson, 19, Despina Pilavakis, 20, and Stacey McLean, 20 - who were joining Dannii, 37, at the five-star Atlantis Palm hotel.

The Mail reports that the girls made it through customs and were taken straight to the Atlantis.

A source tells the UK paper: 'When camera crews fly abroad to film, many countries have agreements in place to let them in without any fuss. But Dubai is a lot stricter.'

A show spokesman confirmed: 'The crew was held at security for a couple of hours.'

The girls were later joined by both Dannii and big sister Kylie, 41, who was on hand to give her famous sister a hand in the selection process.

The pop star sisters put the six through a final audition before whittling them down to three finalists.
