Actress JAMIE WINSTONE  was arrested on suspicion of drink-driving after a night out with celeb-bestie LILYALLEN.

The 24-year-old - who is dating Lily's little brother, ALFIE - had been for dinner with  Lily and  Alfie as well as Lily's boyfriend, builder Sam Cooper and TV presenter ALEXA CHUNG the Quo Vadis restaurant in Soho, London.

But when she returned to her car which was parked nearby, she was nabbed by police who suspected her to be over the limit.

She was arrested and taken to police station for questioning, but later released without charge.

Today a spokesman for Jamie - who is the daughter of veteran Brit actor RAY WINSTONE - said she had been trying to escape paparazzi at the time of her arrest.

He said: 'Jamie hadn't had a drink all evening. She was just trying to get away from the photographers.'
