Dr Murry’s girlfriend to testify before grand jury
The girlfriend of MICHAEL JACKSON's physician has been called to testify before a grand jury.
Nicole Alvarez, who gave birth to Dr. Conrad Murray's son Che in March, will face prosecutors investigating Jackson's death later this week, according to the Los Angeles Times newspaper.
The Los Angeles County district attorney's office is seeking simple testimony from the 27 year old at this time.
Murray is the target of a manslaughter investigation linked to Jackson's death in June.
According to the publication, Alvarez had to be subpoenaed into testifying in court after she refused to co-operate with detectives.
In an affidavit leaked to the Times this summer, Dr. Murray acknowledged he administered the anaesthetic propofol and other medications to Jackson in the hours leading up to the King of Pop's death, but he contends he did nothing wrong.
