Why? Viggo Mortensen is well known in T-Town for being sliiiightly odder than the average actor, but his recent revelations about last year’s Oscars have left us loving the loon and thinking him the sanest man in Hollywood!

Nominated for Best Actor for Eastern Promises, but losing out to Daniel Day ‘I’m A Method Actor Don’cha Know’ Lewis, Viggo spilled, “On the way out of the big auditorium... I went over to these people and said, ‘Hey, let’s do a losers’ dance!’ I started jumping and they were just horrified at this loss they just suffered!”

And Vigs soon discovered that most of the losers wanted to go home and forget about their existence (Hollywood hates a failure after all).

“I would say that 99 per cent of the losers didn’t want to do the losers dance,” he said sadly. “They [thought] I was drunk.” Bless.
