Aamir Khan is back in Mumbai after holidaying in France, and he’s in news right away.

Apparently, at the airport late on Sunday night he indirectly told a reporter present there that Shah Rukh Khan’s recent detention in the US was a mere publicity stunt.

This statement is likely to once again see Aamir and Shah Rukh taking pot-shots at each other, and we thought they had put their differences aside by uniting during the producers-multiplexes tiff.

According to eyewitnesses, a reporter asked Aamir whether he too was questioned at the international airports for being a Khan.

Aamir calmly replied that such things were just routine checks and that he does not care about them. He passed a lighthearted comment saying that no one will bother to check an indiot like him, obviously referring to his upcoming film “3 Idiots”.

He also added that SRK faced trouble at the airport because he is too intelligent, indirectly implying that Shah Rukh’s detention was over hyped and it was just a mere publicity stunt.

Incidentally Salman Khan, too, had made a similar comment on SRK’s detention.

We have to wait for SRK’s response to this one.
