"I don't need an Oscar!"
Harrison Ford isn't at all bitter that he's never won (so he says)
Aw Harrison, you'll always look like this (in our heads)picture: WENN
Apparently, HARRISON FORD will be happy if he ends his career without winning an Oscar - because he doesn't feel he needs awards to be recognised as a fine actor. (Hmmmm)
The Indiana Jones star was nominated for an Academy Award in 1986 - for his role in Witness - but he missed out on the big prize and hasn't picked up a nod since.
At 65, Ford is facing up to the fact he may never be handed one of the famous statuettes - and he doesn't care.
He says, "The Oscar represents the respect of your peers. I respect the people I work with. I would rather earn their respect on the set day by day.
That means more to me than an award."
Bless you Ford, if only all those twinkling starlets out there had the same attitude as you!
