DEMI MOORE spent her weekend in tears - after helping her teenage daughter move into college.

Her middle daughter with ex-husband Bruce Willis, Scout, left the family home to continue her studies at university.

But it seems mum Demi was having trouble cutting those apron strings. She told her Twitter followers: "Just pausing 2 (sic) reflect on what a landmark moment it was moving my daughter in2 (sic) college this weekend. So excited 4 (sic) her & I had a few tears too!"

The 18 year old's elder sister Rumer revealed earlier this month that the teen is set to study either literature or archaeology.
