Terrified HALLE BERRY called police to her home in fear of an ‘intruder' after her house alarm went off.

Police made an emergency dash to the actress's LA mansion to fend off the invader - only to find nothing and no one on the premises.

It isn't known what triggered the alert, but police left shortly after realising it was a false alarm.
