Former Spice Girl MELANIE BROWN is to give up the trappings of her lavish lifestyle for a new UK reality show, which will see her move in with a low-income family.

The multi-millionairess currently lives in a swanky Los Angeles home with her husband, Stephen Belafonte, and her two daughters.

Mel has now decided to ditch her luxurious surroundings in the name of TV.

The singer is to move into the home of a low-income family in her native Britain and learn to live on their tight budget for the new series, which is titled Seven Days on the Breadline.

Somehow we reckon Mel will take to it like a duck to water...
