Rumer Shuns Hollywood Scene
Demi’s girl determined not to have a Mischa Meltdown
Tinseltown spawn RUMER WILLIS says she sgteers clear of the Hollywood party scene to avoid a MISCHA BARTON- style meltdown
Rumer - who's parents are Hollywood actors DEMI MOORE and BRUCE WILLIS - first found fame while she was still in the womb, when a very pregnant Demi posed naked for Vanity Fair.
And despite having been snapped at almost every red carpet function in the last year - the starlet says she avoids the social scene because 'Hollywood is a dangerous place'.
Rumer's comments come after Mischa was allegedly placed under involuntary psychiatric hold at a hospital in Los Angeles in July after reportedly suffering a meltdown, while Lohan's wild antics include two drink-driving arrests, 84 minutes in jail, and a stint in rehab.
Rumer, 21, admits it's hard for young stars to cope with the pressure of fame - because the lure of showbiz parties can often lead to ruin.
She tells Glamour magazine, "I do feel very sorry for Mischa Barton. This whole world is very enticing. When you start getting famous it's exciting. But I've grown up having to deal with what's real and what's not and I just don't care about that type of thing. I have better things to do.
"I think it's important that the only people you have in your life are people who support you and are positive."
