DJ AM's grieving girlfriend has slammed reports he died after she dumped him - insisting they were still together when he was found dead.

American Apparel model Hayley Wood  is pretty upset about the rumours she turned him back on to drugs, which started circulating soon after he was found dead last Friday.

She says: "Any indication that this horribly tragic accident happened because of a rumoured breakup is not only untrue but disgusting.

"We were very much together at the time of his passing, and I love him very much."

The cause of AM's death has yet to be determined. He was laid to rest in a family funeral today.
