British singer-turned-reality-TV star KERRY KATONA has been cautioned by police for possessing drugs.

The former Atomic Kitten vocalist has been at the centre of a storm after shocking pictures of her appeared in a UK tabloid earlier this month.

On Monday she attended a police station near her home in Wilmslow, north-west England, for a pre-arranged interview with officers and accepted an official caution for possessing a controlled substance.

In an interview with a British newspaper on Sunday, Kerry confessed to her ‘moment of madness', saying she was "ashamed" of her actions. She added: "I know I let everyone down - my fans, my family and people I work with."
