Bindi doll: creepy or cool?
She might be an animal lover, but, isn't this just a bit weird?
We're slightly torn over this one - the new Bindi Irwin doll, which made its debut yesterday at the Toy Fair 2008, in NYC.
Apparently all proceeds go towards wildlife conservation, which is very admirable, but we can't help but think that buying a plastic replica of a child is a bit of an odd way to support a charity. Hmmm.
Anyway, Wild Republic, the nature-themed toy brand of K&M International, Inc. in a partnership with Australia Zoo, has plans to launch even more Bindi toys... a full product range in fact, including plush toys and bendables. All will carry Bindi's wildlife messages of nature preservation and conservation.
Like father, like daughter, eh?
