How to reel in AED 10,000

Fancy yourself as a bit of a fisherwoman? Or do you still harbour dreams of your George Clooney-esque fisherman rescuing you from your own ‘Perfect Storm?' Either way, the Arabian Sea will be rocking this Friday, when the BIG6 Fishing Tournament sails in again.

Organized by the award winning Jumeirah Beach Hotel, in association with ART Marine, the competition will allow fishing enthusiasts of all abilities the chance to put their skills to the test and compete for the biggest catch of the day- AED 10,000!

The Tournament will start early in the morning, when eager fishermen will sail out from Jumeirah Beach Hotel's marina (bare-chested and bright - or is that just in our heads, girls?) with hopes of catching the biggest fish to impress us all - hoorah! After a day at sea, all participants will head to Jumeirah Beach Hotel to enjoy a hard-earned, delicious barbeque dinner (not sure if they're cooking their actual catches just yet) and attend a prize-giving ceremony at the hotel's North Beach.

The Tournament will be judged according to six categories of fish, with the winner of each category receiving AED 2,000, and the biggest catch of the day being handed the grand prize of AED 10,000.
