It was a massive hit in London last year, and now Dubai Community Theatre & Arts Centre (in association with Popular Productions Ltd) are jetting in the Irish smash hit, multiple award winning comedy ‘Stones in his Pockets', especially for Dubai, from Wednesday 12 - Saturday 15 March 2008.

‘Stones in his Pockets' is the award-winning, hilarious and sometimes poignant tale of a quiet Irish community and its change by the arrival of a massive Hollywood movie shoot. Winner of the prestigious Olivier & Evening Standard awards for Best Comedy after running for four record breaking years in London's West End, the show also ran on Broadway, where it received a Tony Award nomination for Best Comedy. You know it's gotta be good!

Universally loved by pretty much everyone who sees it, ‘Stones in his Pockets' has a disarming, simplistic charm all of its own. The entire story is brought to life by two highly talented West End actors, who play over 15 characters between them in a breath-taking frenzy of characterization and physical comedy. From the two cheeky Irish lads intent on becoming big movie players, to the diva lead Hollywood actress, whose Irish accent leaves a lot to be desired, ‘Stones In His Pockets' stands out as one of the most unique plays of its time.

The production will play for a total of 5 performances at the Centrepoint Theatre, Dubai Community Theatre & Arts Centre at the Mall of the Emirates. It will open on Wednesday 12th and run until Saturday 15th March 2008 - Just in time for the St Patrick's Day celebrations!
