It's a Burj Al Arab month!
It's the swankiest joint in town and here's your chance to check it out...
So you've heard all the hype, you've ooohed and aaaahed at the light show from afar, you've gawped at helicopters landing on that little disc, but you've still not been inside! What are you so afraid of? Is it the fact that you simply can't afford to take another mortgage on your flat, just to get a cup of tea in the midst of its glitzy charm?
Fear not, there's really nothing to scare you once you step inside the world's fanciest hotel. And with these offers for February and March, we might just have found the perfect excuse to give the Burj Al Arab more than a moment of your precious time.
‘Around the World' breakfast at Junsui
Twelve live cooking stations? Authentic Asian and International dishes? Sounds like the stuff a good brunch is made of! This however is the promise of Junsui - the Burj Al Arab's newest restaurant, which opens to external guests on Feb 11th for breakfast reservations. It's a lot of eating to be done before 10.30, but for only AED 250 we reckon it's a steal. If your other half doesn't know what to get you for Valentine's Day, a few hints at this lavish breakfast wouldn't go amiss. Stick a piccy of the Burj on his next round of toast and wink in that special way...
Timing: 7:00 hrs- 10:30 hrs
Price: AED 250
Ultimate Afternoon Tea at Sahn Eddar
When they say ‘ultimate', they mean ‘ultimate'. This little tea party brings you 50 tasty loose teas to choose from, and if you think a stingy cucumber sarnie is all you get for your 395 smackers, you're wrong! The whole affair is a devilish assault on your tastebuds, with a whopping seven course menu, including a glass of bubbly, delicate finger sandwiches, succulent cuts of meat or fish from the carvery, sorbet, scones and clotted cream, a mixed berry basket, an exquisite selection of French pastries, and a variety of hand-crafted petit fours. Surrounded with all the glitz and glamour, this is one tea party to rival Alice's, and the Burj in our opinion, is just as much of a Wonderland! Take any visiting relatives or friends to this, instead of a noisy brunch. You'll get just as much for your money, and even more memories to make them green with envy over your luxurious lifestyle.
Price: AED 395
Sizzling BBQ on the Beach
Shisha and meat - mmmmm. Two of the best things to consume here in Dubai, and where better a setting than the beach? The Burj's private beach at that. From March onwards at Majlis Al Bahar, the Chef will cook you up a tasty piece of meat or fresh seafood on a tabletop BBQ. Yup, that's your own private BBQ. So many privates here, people... it's a true treat. Mouthwatering starters and salads will get tongues wagging and the waiters are on at hand to cater to your every whim. Unless you want a dinghy. That's probably not allowed in such a high-class environment and besides, the water's still quite cold. When you're done scoffing, sit back with some shisha and revel in your own delusions of grandeur.
Note: The BBQ is served a la carte and priced accordingly.
Timing: 19:00 hrs - 23:30 hrs
