Ping Pong, the 20th century teahouse and uber cool dim sum emporium, is set to get shoppers at Dubai hot and steamy when it opens this September at Dubai Mall.

This new eatery will indulge dim sum fans with its celebrated ‘little parcels of deliciousness’ and tea lovers can delight in the flowering glory of the vast arrange of Ping Pong teas.

With spectacular views overlooking the Dubai Mall lake and inside, Ping Pong’s signature design, this will be the first Ping Pong restaurant outside of the UK.

Dubai’s Ping Pong joins its other 12 hugely popular restaurants in London, in offering a shared dining experience allowing groups of any size to share steamed baskets of dim sum and deliciously prepared plates.

A collection of over 40 dim sum dishes and specials are on the menu and diners will be served the finest translucent dumplings from the scallop and shitake favourites that melt in the mouth to the king of the dumplings, the prawn Har Gau.

Hand made dishes from the Vietnamese spring rolls, chicken wanton soup to signature specials of squid in satay sauce or seaweed, rice and duck wrap are all to be savoured and enjoyed.

Vegetarians have a wonderful choice of dished to pick from and for the health conscious diner, there is a Healthy Fix set menu which is only 487 calories – less than a quarter of a diner’s daily allowance and a 5th of daily saturated fat.

The menu also features a large collection of Chinese teas ranging from China’s famous Green Tea through to flowering jasmine and lilly or a spicy pineapple.

Set to enjoy a soft launch in September and official opening in October, Ping Pong at Dubai Mall will be situated on the Lower Ground, Lake Fountain side.
