Taste of Dubai 2008

FOOD! We live by it. We set our body clocks by the rumble of our tums and it's rare a day passes by when we don't spend time thinking about how to cook it, order it, shop for it or shovel it into our hungry mouths! Taste of Dubai this February is everyone's dream, in one way or another.

Give your palette a thoroughly enjoyable education, and go gastro! The Mark Wilkinson Chefs Theatre features celebrity and world class chefs preparing their most popular dishes especially for you, whilst a Gourmet Food Market offers a mouth-watering array of speciality food and ingredients available to try and buy.
The Beverage Theatre (with MMI) offers up a daily programme of tastings and tutorials. Learn how to distinguish between fine bevs at the ten minute
tasting school and get expert advice in the theatre from renowned connoisseurs.

Also being served at the Bandstand is a ton of music and entertainment, and the Chill Out Zone from Almaz by Momo, London, gives you the chance to lounge with friends around a shisha pipe, and sample a selection of yummy drinks.

Taste of Dubai 2008 is the only place in the city at which you can sample the best of the best from 14 of Dubai's finest restaurants, all in one place. If you've been meaning to go to that place your mates have all been raving about, but haven't actually got round to it, now's your chance, without actually going there! You can always go to the actual restaurant for a proper treat, if you like what you see, smell and taste.

In fact, with all this to sample it'll be a sensory overload. If you don't leave this event planning a year of eating out, chances are you'll fall onto your sofa, holding your swollen belly and swearing never to eat anything again! Either way, it'll definitely give you a few alternatives to making (or ruining?) the dinner.

Taste of Dubai runs from 6-9th February 2008. There are evening sessions daily and afternoon sessions on Friday 8th February and Saturday 9th February. Tickets can be purchased for either afternoon or evening sessions.
