Why? It's a battle the entire US is fascinated by, and it's hotting up by the minute. No, not the stupid presidential campaign - like, durrr! - but rather, Paris's fight to be godmother to Nic's new daughter, Harlow.
And like any good, political campaign, Paris is going all out to trump the opposition.
Gushing, "[Harlow's] the coolest name ever. I'm like, ‘That is the coolest name, oh my God!' I wouldn't even think she would have thought of that. It's a beautiful name," Paris ticks the crawly bum-lick box, before edging past her godmother rival - Aussie actress and fiancée of Joel's brother, Benji, Sophie Monk - in the gift arena.
Presenting Nic with a Dhs5,500 baby basket, Paris is definitely in the lead... as long as Nic doesn't find out that she got it for free at the Sundance Film Festival, last week.
