Winner of the Time Out Abu Dhabi Best Restaurant award 2008, Sardinia is an extraordinarily beautiful restaurant with exceptionally good Mediterranean menu. The décor is a heady but calming combination of beige, cream, gold and natural woods. The huge panoramic windows are draped with dreamy acres of fine muslin lace, and the stunning Grand piano, which almost takes central stage, immediately tells one that this is a restaurant of supreme, fine dining quality. The cuisine is another wonderful discovery, because it completely compliments the sumptuous surroundings. The French Executive Chef, Fabrice Canelli, has been awarded two Michelin stars. He has also worked in the world’s major culinary capitals for legendary chefs, including Pierre Gagnaire. Signature dishes at Sardinia include the lobster risotto served with creamy rice with mascarpone cheese, while for dessert, the tiramisu and the superbly pungent French cheeseboard are utterly sublime.
