Lemongrass
Fresh, authentic and delicious Thai cuisine
LemongrassLocated amidst the hustle and bustle of Sharjah’s latest waterfront development, Qanat Al Qasba, is the newly opened Thai restaurant, Lemongrass). Already a gastronomic institution for the emirate, the interior, like it’s Dubai-based sister outlet is unobtrusive, relaxing and clean. Light yellow walls, dark wood, wicker and bamboo features aplenty create an ambiance of calm and unpretentious enjoyment. All this zen is absolutely deliberate of course, because visitors to Lemongrass tend to get so carried away with the delicious food, that their digestions require all the help they can get. The no-frills, excellent and authentic Thai cuisine is supported by a knowledgeable, fast and considerate waiting staff. The restaurant is often full, yet the service remains efficient and unaffected. Recommended dishes include the red Thai curry, the pad Thai noodles, while the tom yum soup, and the fried prawns are another delicious option. There are also some remarkably good seafood dishes that deserve an empty stomach and one’s full attention. Perfect for lunch out with friends, or a delightful supper, this restaurant is as good as any you might find in Bangkok.
