A hip, trendy and intimate little restaurant with tasty food, Fashion Lounge, which is located at the Marina, has a chilled out ambiance, helped along by the music selection made up of soundtracks by Gipsy Kings and reggae. The raw cement walls have black and white silhouettes on them, and are flanked by flock effect wall paper. The furniture is a mix of trendy white leather and warm dark cushions lit by funky and cool chandeliers. In terms of food, the café-style cuisine is available via an la carte menu which includes handy 'sharing platters'. These allow diners to chose five dishes in smaller portions and are great for those who suffer from ‘menu indecision’ or just enjoy a bit of variety. The crab, the tuna caponata and the duck breast are very popular, while the ricotta cheesecake is a great way to end the meal. Contrary to its name, Fashion Lounge is also refreshingly unpretentious with a relaxed atmosphere, making it perfect for sociable lunches and suppers with friends.
