Set upon the decks of a traditionally-built, polished wooden, Arabian dhow, one would hardly expect to be served anything other than fresh-from-the-net seafood and sushi. But though the food is truly excellent, The Dhow isn’t just about culinary indulgence. It’s about creating an entire dining experience and making guests feel as though they really have spent their evening doing more than just masticating exceptional cuisine. The view from The Dhow and its sailing trajectory takes diners on a tour past The Palm and Dubai Marina in all its lit-by-night glory. There are panoramic seafront and ocean views of the Jumierah coastline which can be viewed from either the upper or lower deck of the floating restaurant. The ambiance is warm and romantic, especially for those seated on the al fresco level at sunset. As for the cuisine, well, it complements the experience without over-powering it. Signature dishes include the delicious but enigmatically named Dhow seafood special, and the mouthwatering Dhow scallop barbequed skewers.
