It’s been almost nine years since Café Chic first opened its doors for business, but the novelty of this charming and multi-award-winning little French bistro has never worn thin. The décor is as elegant and chic as it is timeless, with a Mediterranean theme interspersed with tasteful French touches. The reason for its par excellence is that Café Chic boasts a genuine French chef – Sylvain Gohier - who was poached from one of the very best two-star Michelin restaurants in Lyon. As a result, the gastronomic offerings are so good that diners will think they should be paying more when the bill arrives. Café Chic has become a firm favourite with lunchtime business diners, Ambassadors and Consul Generals, as well as those seeking romantic, late-night suppers. Signature dishes include the fabulously fresh pressed duck liver terrine with yellow onion and celery root chutney, and the Atlantic Ocean sea bass with confit white asparagus.
