Rumours of Brad and Angelina's increasingly rocky relationship came to a head recently, when sources close to Brad and Jennifer, claim the ex-couple enjoyed a secret meeting which ended in the actor pouring his heart out to Jen.

In New York to visit Angelina on the set of her latest flick, Salt - and attempt to repair their strained romance - Brad arranged to meet with Jen during a break from filming The Baster, and the pair drove around town in Brad's SUV for fear of being recognised if they went to a hotel or restaurant.

Revealing of Jen and Brad's hour-long NYC meeting, a source spilled, "They had to plan it meticulously so no one would find out."

Brad's Unhappy Confession

"Brad confessed his feelings to Jen," revealed an insider. "He told her that he is trying to make his relationship with Angelina work, but it is failing."

Courteney Welcomes Brad Back

Concert-goers backstage at Chris Cornell's LA gig, last week, were surprised to see Courteney happily chatting away with Brad, adding fuel to the rumours that Brad and Jen are now close enough for him to be welcomed back into the fold.
