Just two years after a shocking foul-mouthed rant at his the 11-year-old daughter threatened to wreck his career, ALEC BALDWIN has spouted yet another bizarre verbal assault on his only offspring.

The 51-year-old actor, who branded daughter Ireland a ‘thoughtless little pig' during a vitriolic answer phone message, has now said teenage girls are too opinionated and he can understand why they might be thrown in a volcano.

In a strange conversation with chat show host DAVID LETTERMAN, Baldwin said: "My daughter's 13 and I see now why, in these films when they represent a Mayan culture or any tribal culture, a Hawaiian culture, they always throw a teenage girl into the volcano as a sacrifice... I kind of understand why they do. They're very opinionated.

"Everyone always tells me "Oh it's their hormones", and I don't really care,' he told the chat show host.

"They should be sent to some kind of Chinese re-education camp in the mountains for five years."

Oh right.
