Visit the Med (in your head)

Ah, the med. The temperatures might be similar in Dubai but the attitude, and more importantly the food will never compare!

Well now you can get a taste of it on Fridays, with the Mediterranean Brunch at the Terrace restaurant at Sheraton Deira Hotel. Their lavish spread offers numerous Mediterranean specialties, a tempting array of International hot and cold dishes, soups, veggies, salads, cold cuts, seafood, meats, rice, noodles, sweets,... all for just Dhs. 115 net per person. You can't argue with that!

Also included are those (ever essential) House beverages - soft drinks, mineral water, and both red and white house wines.

When you're lulled into a haze by the food and wine, soft Italian and Spanish pipe music serenades you even further, creating an exotic Mediterranean experience while seated at the Terrace restaurant. You could almost be in Spain.

Another option is to go for Dhs. 89 net, which leaves out the booze and offers unlimited soft drinks instead.

If you're coming with the kids, children up to the age of 12 have an exclusive area to play in, under the supervision of professional and friendly staff. As you head to the Med in your head, children can join in activities like cartoon movies, color painting, and video games, which are all included in the brunch price.

And don't think the kids miss out. They can order their own little brunch - nuggets, lollipops, French fries, mini burgers, and soft drink selections.
