The décor, to begin with is quite unusual, in that Epicure is part luxury deli, part luxury lounge and part fine-dining restaurant, all seamlessly sewn together with lots of lovely dark walnut, oval shapes and colourful cushions. The overall avant-garde ambiance is calm, collected and very, very tasteful. Offering contemporary international cuisine with an Asian/zen twist, the menu is filled with healthy goodies designed to make one feel saintly rather than over-indulged. Here, even the humble Ceaser salad has entered a new dimension, as it is served with a soft poached egg, plenty of pancetta and a delicious sprinkling of butterfly prawns. Other delights such as the sweet red snapper and the delectable Singapore noodles, are also deliciously prepared.
