Expensive gifts: Lindsay became infatuated with the Spider-Man star when they first met at a film premiere in June 2006. When they later teamed up to film cameos in The Holiday, Lindsay reportedly tried to give James an expensive watch and when he refused to accept her gift, she began wearing it herself, “as a reminder of him.”

Reduced to tears: The final blow came when James reportedly ignored Lindsay at a Golden Globes after-party in 2007, resulting in her fleeing the bash in tears.

Rehab: Days after James shunned her, Linds checked herself into Hollywood rehab centre, Wonderland – which also treats “love addicts” – only to check out weeks later and boast to pals that she had bedded James.

But James – who Lindsay emailed before checking into rehab – denied any romantic involvement saying, “We are friends. I hope she gets better.”

Desperate calls: Lindsay’s latest crush is 90210 actor Kellan, who’s currently jetting around the US promoting the Twilight DVD. Lindsay has been inundating the star – who’s dating his 90210 co-star AnnaLynne McCord – with teary phonecalls.

“[Kellan] is out of town this week,” a pal of Linds revealed. “But they are in constant contact.”

Fabricated friendship: But Kellan says he’s baffled as to why Lindsay’s targeting him, revealing, “I’ve met [her] once – a year ago – and it was like, ‘Hey’, ‘Hey’, that’s it. It’s so weird.” Adding, “I don’t know and I don’t really ever want to be... where Lindsay is, where [she] can’t even go get coffee without having [paparazzi] flashes the whole time, you know?”

Shameless flirting: Lindsay fell for the Gossip Girl hunk when they met at a showbiz bash last October, with a close friend, revealing, “Lindsay threw herself at him all night.”

Saucy texts: And she’s been bombarding Chace with late night calls – “Everyone on the set of Gossip Girl has been teasing him... Lindsay has been calling him three or four times a day and sending provocative texts.”

6am visits: “Lindsay heard that Chace and Emile Hirsch were hanging out at Southern Hospitality. She showed up uninvited and unannounced,” said Chace’s pal. “Chace left to go back to his place for some more fun.Lindsay showed up uninvited to his apartment at 6am and was not allowed in.”

Lindsay set her man-eating sights on both Adrian Grenier and Leo DiCaprio when she ran into them at the same Hollywood club recently. “She first gravitated towards Grenier, pulling off her red leather jacket and pulling him onto the dance floor,” spilled a spy.
