BRITNEY SPEARS is expecting her third child.

Well that's the talk in Tinseltown right now after TV presenter and close friend of Brit's RYAN SEACREST made the shock announcement on his radio show yesterday.

The American Idol presenter claims he has been told by a ‘relaible source' that the songstress has another bun in the oven.

But the news seems to have come as a bit of a shock to Miss Spears who has rallies Camp Britters to play down the rumours.

Britney's spokesman ADAM LEBER has insisted there is no truth to the story, blasting it as ‘ridiculous'.

'She's absolutely not pregnant. I have no idea where this ridiculous rumour came from,' he told US celebrity blogger Perez Hilton.

‘Ryan has communication with our camp and could have checked this before saying it'.

But insiders say the rumours are more believable because Ryan and Britney are said to be firm friends.

A source close to Ryan said: ‘Ryan and Britney are friends. He wouldn't have said something like that unless he knew the truth.'

He had earlier posted a message on Twitter saying: 'I heard a rumor about Brit that I want to investigate before I give more deets!'

Britney, who has two children SEAN PRESTON, 3, and JAYDEN JAMES, 2,  from her marriage to KEVIN FEDERLINE, is thought to be dating her backing dancer Chase Benz, and has been plagued by pregnancy rumours since her well-documented breakdown last year.
