As the name implies, Rhodes Mezzanine is headed up by award-winning, Michelin starred, celebrity chef, Gary Rhodes. Known for his staunch support of the much-maligned Great British cuisine, Rhodes, with his traditional British menu, helped out with a certain French twist, offers a creative and delicious dining experience. Those looking for a chic but unpretentious, contemporary fine-dining restaurant would not be disappointed. The interior décor infuses a multitude of design influences, from modern to baroque, with the result being a vibrant combination of brilliant white walls with unexpected bursts of cherry-reds, oranges and yellows. Vases of orchids, glass display cabinets and an ambiance of unhurried relaxation abounds. The fact that culinary legends, Michelle Roux and Pierre Gagniare both dine at Rhodes Mezzanine when in Dubai, is also a good indication that the menu delivers its promises. Signature dishes include lobster omelette thermidor as a starter, tournados of salmon, langoustine, scallop and butter and ginger sauce as a main, followed by a selection of very English desserts, including jam roly poly and bread and butter pudding.
