Serving up some of the finest Indian cuisine in the region, Asha’s, which is owned by the legendary Indian singer, Asha Bosle, has certainly made its mark on the UAE restaurant scene. The decor is deliciously rich and contemporary, combining tangy oranges and reds with cooler, turquoise blues (representing fire and water) perhaps to remind diners that they may indeed need cooling down after sampling some of the menu’s spicier signature dishes. The ambiance is also calming and convivial, with a warm buzz of lively chatter which never seems to obtrude. Asha’s is perfect for big sociable soirees and romantic tete-a-tetes due to its well-planned layout which provides large communal tables as well as hideaway couple spots cosily lit on the terrace. Diners can expect a well-rounded selection of traditional and fusion Indian cuisine, which has been flavoured by a combination of secret spices, created by Asha Bosle herself. Recommended dishes are the chingli chaap, the Muscat gosht and the rogan josh.
