Following the revelations that her ex husband BLAKE FIELDER-CIVIL is about to become a father for the first time with a woman he had a fling with in rehab, AMY WINEHOUSE is now planning to start her own family by adopting a child from her new "spiritual home", St Lucia.

The 25-year-old, who has spent most of the year on the Caribbean island, now sees herself as being the "ANGELINA JOLIE of St Lucia" and wants to help poor and underprivileged kids.

"Amy is seriously thinking about adopting,’ says a friend of the singer. "But she is aware it’s going to be incredibly difficult with her background."

"Amy’s gutted about Blake becoming a dad and moving on so quickly. She has always wanted to be a mother. She loves St Lucia and would move there for good in order to adopt."
