Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer have split again.

Just weeks after the couple appeared at the Oscars looking happier than ever, the couple have confirmed their split following a series of arguments.

"They had some disagreements and decided to not continue to see each other," says a source close to the 40-year-old actress. "Jen is moving on with her life like she always does. She seems happy."

The couple had been on/off for a year - the couple previously split in August with John, 31, announced he wanted to "be alone because I don't want to waste somebody's time if something's not right" - but this time it looks like the split will be permanent.

In a recent interview Jen revealed that she didn't believe in the "perfect relationship" or that "romance can last forever - and now we know why.
