We love a good celebrity spat story here at Ahlanlive.com towers, and they don't get anymore bizarre than this.

The latest celeb-smack-down is between unlikely enemies TOM CRUISE and LIAM GALLAGHER.

The row started when Oasis super-gob Liam branded the pint-sized actor "small b**tard" in a tell-all documentary.

Tom was reportedly fuming with the singer's outburst, which was filmed as part of an Oasis documentary; Lord Don't Slow Me Down, when he ranted: ""I hate Tom Cruise. I can't stand that small b**tard."

Now, according for British reports Tom, who has been desperate to confront the singer, pulled him up after bumping in to him in a Berlin Hotel earlier this month.

But now the plot has thickened further with Liam's brother, the equally mouthy NOEL GALLAGHER, denying the confrontation ever took place.

He writes on the band's website: "Did anyone see that story of Oasis allegedly meeting Tom Cruise in a hotel in Berlin?! Ludicrous.

"The mind boggles at where these stories come from. Pure nonsense."
